Fremantle! After a long day at Rottnest we went to Little Creatures to taste the beer and the food at the brewery

FREMANTLE PRISON!

We took a guided torchlight tour at night time! A bit scary but also interesting.

Our guide Simon did a great job scaring us and making us believe that the prison is haunted...

From this box the security guard watched the prisoners while they were in the exercise area, any fights and arguments the prisoners had to solve themselves

Take a beating by the pole, one of the men in our group had to volunteer to show how it was done, luckily non of us were dragged up there!

The prison was built in 1852 - 1859 by convict labour and was used as a prison until 1991. The cells looed like this, and there were no toilets inside, so you could imagine what the bucket was used for, even in 1991!

...A bit creepy... Moooahhhhahahaaaa!
